<p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif"><b>GANGTOK,: </b>SDF president and former Chief Minister Pawan Chamling on Monday
visited the party’s district office in Namchi where he met with members of the
Namchi District committee, including youth leaders and party workers. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif">During
the interaction, the SDF president reviewed ongoing organisational activities
and provided guidance on strengthening the party’s outreach and grassroots
engagement across the district, informs a SDF press release.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif">Chamling
also congratulated the newly elected youth coordinators Rupesh Gurung for
Namthang and Binod Jogi for Poklok-Kamrang, and wished them success in their
responsibilities.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif">On
the occasion, several organisational appointments were announced.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif">Chamling
expressed confidence that the newly appointed office bearers would work with
dedication and commitment to further strengthen the organisation and serve the

also addressed party workers on the SDF’s ideology and its deep roots in Sikkim
as a regional political party. He urged them to take the SDF’s vision for 2029
to the people and strengthen the party’s connect with citizens in every corner

the same day, the SDF Namchi District Youth Front convened a youth meeting on
Monday at the SDF district party office under the leadership of Riwaz Limboo,
general secretary in-charge - Youth Front Namchi and Suman Chamling vice
president in-charge - Youth Front Namchi.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif">A SDF
press release informs that the meeting was hosted by Suman Chamling and chaired
by Prakash Rai, SDF general secretary of Namchi District, and also attended by
SDF Cheli Morcha in-charge Komal Chamling.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif">Riwaz
Limboo outlined the agenda of the meeting, highlighting the role and
responsibilities of the Namchi District Youth Front in strengthening the party
organisation and contributing to the Navnirman of Sikkim.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif">Addressing
the gathering, Bikash Rai, SDF in-charge of Namchi-Singithang constituency,
encouraged the youth members to actively participate in party activities and
work diligently for the welfare of the people.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif">Komal
Chamling, in her address, emphasised the importance of understanding the
responsibilities of youth in society and politics. She reflected on how the SDF
party emerged as a vibrant political force under the leadership of party
president Pawan Chamling and urged the youth to work fearlessly and with
dedication. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif">She
stressed the need to take the party’s ideology to the grassroots level and
strengthen connections with the people. She also called upon youth members to
remain vigilant and assist voters in carefully filling out the SIR forms, the
SDF press release informs.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style",serif">In
his concluding remarks, chairperson Prakash Rai stated that the party has
renewed itself and is moving forward with a clear vision for the rebuilding of
Sikkim. He remarked that the youth of today would become the architects of a
new Sikkim and reiterated that the state requires experienced and visionary
leadership. He expressed confidence that Pawan Chamling possesses the vision
and capability to lead Sikkim towards a brighter future, said the SDF.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p>
