Education officers visit Gyalshing district schools

Pradhan, additional director (Samagrah Shiksha, Text Book &amp; Language) A.D. Chettri, Samagra Shiksha programme officer Dig Vijay Basnett, assistant director (Samagra Shiksha) Laxuman Adhikari and assistant director (PM SHRI) Deoraj Bagdas. The team was accompanied by deputy director Prashant M. Karki, assistant director Dinesh Pradhan and AEO Karma T. Bhutia from District Education Office, Gyalshing. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt; font-family:&quot;Bookman Old Style&quot;,serif">On August 22, the team visited Rangit and Pewthang primary schools, Tashiding senior secondary school and PM Shri Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhalaya at Labing. The Education officials from Block Education Office, Chongrang were also present during the visit. The team inspected usage of educational play materials supplied to children of primary classes, implementation of PM Poshan scheme, conditions and use of laboratories and lavatories, school infrastructure, playground facilities and implementation of all governmental schemes and policies. The visit was marked with interactions with the teachers, school heads, SMCs and students. The team assured the students of all possible help from the department and appealed all to take benefit of the government-sponsored winter coaching programme which can be availed in their own schools during winter vacation, informs a press release.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt; font-family:&quot;Bookman Old Style&quot;,serif">On August 23, the team attended the celebration of National Space Day and morning assembly at PM Shri Government SSS, Pelling.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p> </p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt; font-family:&quot;Bookman Old Style&quot;,serif">After the routine inspection and interactions, the team attended orientation-cum-coordination programme of BRCC and CRCC at DIET, Gyalshing. The team inspected the institution's infrastructure and interacted with DIET trainees. The trainees were instructed on the importance of their course and the massive role they can play in bringing out with the desired changes in the education system, the release adds.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
