PrakashMathur visited Sikkim PrernaSthal, Bardang under Pakyong District today
and paid homage to the fallen heroes and the brave Indian soldiers who
sacrificed their lives during Kargil War of 1999. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style","serif"">The
Governor was joined by the GOC of Black Cat Division, Major General AshishNegi,
Army Officers and jawans and officials from Pakyong district administration. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style","serif"">Commemorating
Kargil Vijay Diwas, a two-minute silence was observed in remembrance of the
brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the country, a

the Governor inspected the ongoing developmental works at the Sikkim
PrernaSthal premises. Reviewing the progress of works with army officers and
district officials, he instructed officials to complete the pending works at
the earliest, in strict adherence to quality.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style","serif"">He
also interacted with the jawans present on the occasion, offered them sweets
