edition of the NE STAR Ultimate Music Talent Hunt, powered by TOYOTA, was held
at Topsel Toyota on Adampool Road here on Sunday.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Garamond",serif;
mso-ansi-language:EN-US">Out of the 26 finalists who participated in today’s
audition, the top two musicians, singers or bands will be shortlisted for the
grand finale, scheduled to be held in Guwahati soon.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Garamond",serif;
mso-ansi-language:EN-US">The chief guest for the event was Gangtok MLA Delay
Namgyal Barfungpa. He was accompanied by MLA Madan Cintury as the guest of
honour, Chief Minister’s Political Secretary Jacob Khaling as chief observer,
TOYOTA officials and staff, guest performers and invited guests.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Garamond",serif;
mso-ansi-language:EN-US">The audition was judged by singer, composer and
musician Poojan Lohagun, and renowned Nepali folk and classical singer,
composer and landscape artist Bimala Pradhan.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Garamond",serif;
mso-ansi-language:EN-US">TKM Field Manager Vibhor Saxena said that TOYOTA has
always encouraged sports and music, which he described as the “heart and soul
of the Northeast.”<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Garamond",serif;
mso-ansi-language:EN-US">“TOYOTA wants to nurture talents from the Northeast by
providing them with a platform to perform in Guwahati and later at the national

mso-ansi-language:EN-US">The results of the live audition will be announced on

mso-ansi-language:EN-US">Chief Coordinator Shyam Pradhan thanked TOYOTA on
behalf of the participating artists for providing them with a platform to
showcase their talents. He urged the participants not to feel demotivated if
