This marks a growth of approximately 17.72% in passenger traffic and 14.71% in revenue compared to the previous year. The figures highlight the growing popularity and sustained demand for the iconic “Heritage Train,” while also contributing significantly to local employment and tourism-driven economic growth in the Darjeeling region.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:"Bookman Old Style","serif"; mso-ansi-language:EN-US">According to the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), this impressive growth has been achieved through a multi-pronged strategy focused on enhancing passenger experience while preserving the historic charm of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.
