Governor dedicates Indian Army welfare projects for Lachen-Lachung region

The Governor also lauded the sterling contribution of the Indian Army in nation building, through protection of the borders in extremely inhospitable conditions; upgrading the livelihood of locals in the region through welfare schemes; and being the last bastion during any natural calamity.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family:&quot;Bookman Old Style&quot;,&quot;serif&quot;">Governor Mathur also lauded the courage and resilience of the locals of Lachen and Lachung Valley, who braved such conditions and supported the Indian Army in all its efforts.
