Indra Hang seeks expedited progress on key railway projects in Sikkim

He noted that the railway projects being undertaken in the State represent a historic milestone and would significantly contribute to economic growth, tourism, trade, and regional connectivity, a press release informs.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:&quot;Georgia&quot;,serif">Indra Hang highlighted the importance of the proposed Rangpo-Ranipool railway project and requested the Railway Minister to expedite the necessary processes for its implementation. He emphasized that extending the railway network beyond Rangpo to Ranipool would bring the benefits of rail connectivity closer to the State capital region and further strengthen transportation infrastructure in Sikkim.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family:&quot;Georgia&quot;,serif">He also urged the Minister to facilitate the early completion of the Final Location Survey (FLS) for the proposed Melli-Dentam railway line.
