Media Excellence Award for Sikkim journalist Jagan Dahal

Sharma during a ceremony held at PLB Auditorium, ITO on Saturday.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&quot;Bookman Old Style&quot;,serif">“The honour conferred by the Media Federation of India recognises Dahal’s dedication, commitment, and impactful journalism in the political and social sectors,” states a press release.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&quot;Bookman Old Style&quot;,serif">The event was attended by journalists from more than 24 States also had Press Club of Sikkim general secretary D.R. With over 14 years of experience in journalism, he has been consistently delivering ground-level reporting on political developments and social issues.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&quot;Bookman Old Style&quot;,serif">His notable contributions include pre-disaster risk reporting and impactful post-disaster coverage of the devastating calamity that struck North Sikkim in October 2023.
